P3M – Wiltshire Police

Client Objectives

Engage analysts used Systems Thinking methods to understand needs and to develop solutions that were both tactically implementable and culturally feasible. This was an iterative process and involved interviews, workshops, and use of activity models to explore potential interventions.

Key Deliverables

Wiltshire Police were concerned that their Operational Continuity Policy and processes needed optimising, after the first wave of COVID-19. They thought it was imperative to capture and implement recent learnings.

Our Role

A wide range of recommendations which would enable Wiltshire Police to significantly enhance their operational continuity, whatever the threat, but including the immediate challenge of COVID-19.

Final Outcomes

Engage has the capability to apply Systems Thinking methodologies to develop interventions that solve difficult and inconsistent situations. We work systemically and practice a learning approach with our clients which result in fundamental improvements within culturally feasible solutions.

"I particularly appreciated the way the Engage Team Lead worked alongside and with my management team to sensitively overcome some cultural barriers to change."
