Organisation Re-Structure

Organisation Re-Structure

Client Objectives

The Engage programme manager conducted analysis of the organisations operating model, identified areas of improvement, developed ‘new’ operating processes and structures, designed a change plan and worked with the teams to implement the new ways of working. Engage then deployed Subject Matter Experts to enact and embed the change plan, and integrate the changes into the digitalisation programme work being conducted concurrently.

Key Deliverables

Following the relocation of all Royal Electrical Mechanical Engineers (REME) technical training to the existing MOD Lyneham facility, the methods, processes, and ways of working used by the two teams were misaligned causing operational issues. The Babcock team did not have the capacity, expertise and experience to deliver the significant structural change required to integrate the methods, processes and ways of working for the two training teams.

Our Role

The organisation was able to more efficiently and effectively deliver the training outcomes required by the customer. The processes also enabled Babcock to operate a more flexible and proactive approach to resourcing tasks.

Final Outcomes

The Engage Programme Management Team have experience in delivering ‘technology driven‘ change and will work alongside your management to sensitively deliver the outcomes you require. Our experts seamlessly integrate changes into the organisation and other projects and programmes, to ensure successful delivery. "I particularly appreciated the way the Engage team lead worked alongside and with my management team to sensitively overcome some cultural barriers to change." - Training Delivery Manager, Babcock International
