FLIS - Future Logistic Information System

FLIS - Future Logistic Information System

Client Objectives

Engage undertook a systematic review of organisation, governance, risks and technical assessment of systems. The latter required a review of quantitative and qualitative information held by both parties and developing a transition plan which included business change requirements.

Key Deliverables

The Ministry of Defence (MOD) required support in transitioning the Future Logistic Information System (FLIS) from being managed by Boeing Defence UK to the MoD. Engage were required to establish business processes and change management requirements.

Our Role

The new processes, organization and governance proposed by Engage ensured the smooth transition of the FLIS Contract. The Engage design information management systems were used to assist in the control of the many thousand information artefacts.

Final Outcomes

Engage has the capability to apply Systems Thinking methodologies to develop interventions that solve difficult and inconsistent situations. We work systemically and practice a learning approach with our clients which result in fundamental improvements within culturally feasible solutions.

"I particularly appreciated the way the Engage Team Lead worked alongside and with my management team to sensitively overcome some cultural barriers to change."
